I get my reparations in the form of education. My ancestors were forbidden from learning. I have a Bachelors degree in business. In 6 months I will have a Masters in Human Resources. 3 years later I plan to obtain an Educational Specialist degree in School Psychology. I will let my family history showcase my academic accomplishments so there is no doubt in anyone’s mind “We” aren’t capable. My great grandchildren will see what I leave behind for them.
